Modern Christian Worship Drumming

These drumming classes are for beginners or intermediate individuals currently playing in their local church, or for those called by God to join their worship team.

These drumming classes are for beginners or intermediate individuals currently playing in their local church, or for those called by God to join their worship team. These classes will encourage you to become a better worship leader, “Drummers rule”-Dave Weckle; while teaching you the skills to create an atmosphere of excitement, collaboration, and reverence to God’s work. We’ll deal with time keeping, various music styles, drumming etiquette, notes taking, essential music notation, and much more. Classes take place in my home studio, your home ( if you have a drumkit), or in your local church. Rates will apply according.
Merengue Music Workshops
These workshop are designed to introduce groups to the fundamentals of the percussion ensemble of this Caribbean music style. We'll learn the standard patterns of Merengue music and its various instruments. I.e., Guiro, Tambora drum, Conga drums, songs, and of course; a number of dance moves. The workshop includes instruments and is available in both Spanish and English.
