About his work

RUDY WILLIAMS-TYSON is a percussionist and a sociolinguistic researcher. Rudy's working languages are: Spanish, French, and English. A graduate of Sheffield Hallam University School of business, South Yorkshire/England. 

He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of arts degree in Interdisciplinary Linguistics at the University of Winnipeg. 


He researchers topics related to:

  • Language, accents, and social status
  • Benefits and challenges of multilingualism  in the 21st century
  • Caribbean Masquerading, Indigenous dances, drumming, and folklore
  • The biblical study of the “End-of-the-world” and its relationship to social change
